Chelsea and Cote D'Ivoire legend,Didier Drogba,has been celebrating and recounting Chelsea's Champion League win in 2012.He spoke about how he begged Juan Mata to win the cup for them.
The message he shared on social media,was to inspire and let one know that believing in a cause till the end is important and with that,all things can be achieved.
He recalled how he was close to tears when host team Bayern Munich,who were playing in their own
stadium,took the lead with just 8 minutes to go.But team mate Juan Mata Garcia,encouraged him not to give up and fight till the end.
It ended happily with Drogba and his mates lifting the champions league for Chelsea for the first and only time in their history.
Drogba then went on to keep his promise by giving every member of the squad a gold ring costing thousands of pounds to celebrate their success.
