Ngozi Ezeonu the Nigerian actress,was born May 23, 1965. She was born to Mr and Mrs D.O Ikpelue. She is an indigene of Anambra State. The actress first obtained a Diploma Degree in Journalism and worked as a journalist before going into acting, she also once worked as a Hair-stylist.
She however was only a journalist for a short while, before going into acting in 1993, she was introduced into acting by Zeb Ejiro who offered her a role in her debut movie
"Nneka the Pretty Serpent" where she played a lead supporting role. Her role in the movie was outstanding and it later became a hit. This catapulted her into yet another role in a hit movie "Glamour Girls" alongside Gloria Anozie and Liz Benson. Since her shoot into the limelight, Ngozi has featured in over 150 movies.
Ngozi has featured in many blockbuster movies like Women of Faith, Shattered Mirror, Suicide King and Dry my tears among others. In 2012 her role in the movie Adesuwa earned her a nomination as Best supporting actress at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Award.
Ngozi who has six siblings is also the mother of 4 children, she recently got divorced to her husband Edwin who she was married to for decades. The actress rarely shares pictures of her family on social media.

In 2013 she lost tremendous weight loss, the actress who was known for her robust stature diminished drastically as she lost a lot of weight leaving her fans and the general public bothered about her health. This led to several claims that the actress was sick, Ngozi came out to Debunk the rumours of her being sick. She explained it was a personal decision to lose weight as she had been battling with it for years. She however put an end to the aggressive weight loss journey when she started experiencing chronic Anorexia.
In 2014 a speculation spread like wild fire, there were rumours claiming the actress was dead. The same year her mother died but the actress is alive, well and still blooming in the movie industry.
