Wonders as the police!Evans the kidnapper and his dad file suits against

Evans the kidnapper has filed another lawsuit against the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, challenging his continuous detention since his arrest on June 10th.The lawsuit was filed through his counsel at the Federal High Court, Lagos.I am still laughing hysterically at this.Absolutely incredible!


He is demanding N300 million in damages for his continuous detention without trial and being subjected to media trials.
But as if ALL these wasn't enough,Evans father,has also reportedly filed a suit in support of his son alleging that he is not being given a fair trial as this has all been done on the pages of news paper!
Do these people have no shame at all?Even though we know legally,these are acceptable
claims,surely with some things the moral code comes into play?It's not as if we are in any doubt that Evans was guilty of all the crimes linked to him.He has admitted this himself,even though i know this is not much cos it was not done in the courts.But it is quite different if he had denied in anyway what he has done.He even took them to houses or should i say the den where he held his captives.And the father can come out and defend this man? It just shows that he lied when he said he did not know of his sons whereabouts or what he did for a living.
They are all criminals..Personally ,i feel Evans should be killed.That is the only justifiable thing for all his crimes.

Joined as respondents in the kidnapper's new lawsuit are the Nigeria Police Force, the Commissioner of Police Lagos State and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command.

In the fresh lawsuit marked FHC/L/CS/1012/ 2017, Evans is asking the court to declare that his continued detention since June 10th without arraignment, violates his fundamental rights as guaranteed under the 1999 Constitution.

Evans is also asking the court to declare that his parade before the media at the Lagos state police command in Ikeja on June 11th by the police was unconstitutional since the police had no court order to that effect.

The notorious kidnapper is asking the court to order the police to arraign him before a court or set him free. He is also asking the court to order the respondents to jointly and individually, pay him the sum of N300 million as exemplary damages for illegal detention and alleged harm caused by the alleged media trial.

Evan is also seeking an order of perpetual injunction, restraining the respondents from further arresting, detaining, harassing, investigating or inviting him in relation to the facts of his case.

The court is yet to assign a judge to the case nor fix a date for hearing of his new suit.

Barrister Olukoya Ogungbeje pictured above is reportedly the lawyer that filed the Fundamental Humanrights lawsuit against Inspector General of Police Idris Ibrahim, Nigeria Police Force, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State Fatai Owoseni and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command, on behalf of Evans. (he's doing his job though)
