The club owner who was also rumoured to be Bobrisky's secret boyfriend, went viral last weekend when he was seen in pictures on social media with girls that he had dog leash on.He paraded them like slaves dressed elegantly and Nigerians went gaga over the pictures.
But should he really have been arrested? What some are saying is the girls were not forced to engage
in the act.Another point of argument was that this happens abroad and it was a form of S&M.
His apology. |
Well, just because it happens abroad don't mean it should be allowed to happen here. Why do we always like to copy things that happen elswhere? And why especially do we choose to copy the bad things?
Some even said, the young ladies should have been taken in as well to the station for partaking in the act.Well,i don't agree. These young ladies were vulnerable and even though they were not forced like a lot of people have remarked, they were taken advantage of.
On the argument that the girls were not forced,it is pretty obvious looking at those young ladies that they did this for money. It is the sad state of affairs in the country. You are allowed to engage in any form of s.exual expression. But not all can be or should be done publicly.
Sex is not illegal, but can you engage in it publicly without being arrested?
Besides, once a government term something as illegal or forbidden,if you go ahead with it,then you are breaking the law and will face the consequences.
This should serve as an example to those rich men who feel they can use girls anyhow or take advantage of them because they have the financial means.
Left to me,Mike would have been put on a leash and taken round town for a couple of days so he knows what it feels like.Since he feels its okay to do it to others,i am sure he wouldn't mind.😊😊😊😊😋😋
Speaking on why the Uno club owner was hauled in,the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem said the State Government will not tolerate any anti-social behavior that attempts to dehumanize any citizen in the State.
He also made it known that the government will protect all vulnerable citizens including women and children.
But perhaps the most humiliating aspect for the so called big boy,is he being made to sign an undertaking. It read:
'I, Mike Eze Nwalie, do hereby undertake to stop whatever act of putting girls on a leash or any other degrading treatment to ladies and guys..
I am aware that such act offends the State of Lagos and if I repeat it again, there will be a legal act towards me..
I undertake to issue a letter of apology to the public effective tomorrow on all my social media platforms'.
It was refreshing to see a bully, cos that is what i choose to call him in this scenario, looking sheepish and helpless in the pictures of him that was taken at the police station.
He was not looking so pretty for once.
