She has all the money in the world, and made do with a $3m payday.Nice work if you ca get it.That is not a bad pay at all to make in your last fight.A nice parting gift, now go have a happy new year and a happy life.
I have watched the Ronda Rousey Amada Nunes video several times and i am convinced it is time to go.
To see the 29 year old former champion knocked out like that really broke my heart. It was
not befitting for her legacy, but when you pass your sell by date, you open yourself up to this. Some are saying maybe she was rusty because this was her first fight back in 13 months, but it's not like she was taking no prisoners before then was she?The writing had been on the wall long before bantamweight champion Nunes knocked her out!
Amanda relentlessly attacked her challenger and easily landed multiple shots without much defensive moves from Ronda.Needless to say,the whole thing was over in less than a minute.I seriously fear she could get killed if she continued.Like i said,we don't want no post fight conference leading to news of anyone's demise.
In her hey days which was not long ago,Ronda won twelve consecutive MMA fights, six in the UFC. She won eleven of those fights in the first round, nine of them by armbar submission, before finally suffering her first loss to Holly Holm in 2015.
In May 2015, two magazines ranked Rousey as the most "dominant" active athlete.
But its not all doom and gloom. She can proudly hold her head up high for what she has achieved in the sport. She will go down arguably as its greatest champion ever.In September 2015, voters in an online ESPN poll selected her as the Best Female Athlete Ever.
But retirement won't see the end of her or see her star wain,as she has other things which will keep her in the public eye.Her first feature film role was the 2014 film The Expendables 3. In 2015, she had roles in the films Furious 7 and Entourage.
But it will be a shame if she spends her later years in poor health because she failed to heed advice when her time was up.Every dog has its day.We all retire someday.
