My Predictions after Headies 2016 award Nominees and next rated list announcement

It's that exciting time again when Nigerian music lovers discuss the Headies award nominees.The 2016 list has been announced and there are some exciting categories.We have the usual suspects like D'banj,Olamide, Wizkid,Clarence Peter,Wande Coal and Banky W.Then there are the new kids on the block like Kiss Daniel,Adekunle Gold and Tjan.This years headies promises to be a great one and if the nominees list is anything to go by,fans are in for a treat at the 2016 show.
Inerestingly,Davido's artist,Mayokun was not nominated,would be equally interesting to see what Omo Baba Olowo has to say about this development.
So who would clean up at this years award?I am tipping Wizkid for the eyar he has had,i think he
deserves to come out tops on the night.

So here are my predictions for the night.I will like to see how many i got right on the night of the awards itself.
Best Recording of the year and my tip is Pray for me by Darey,i don't agree with the songs nominated though,there should either be more songs or thses songs are not just totally right.
Producer of the eyar for me is Legendury Beats for Baba Nla by Wizkid.
Best Music Video,i can't decide.A tough one,i am going for Dbanj's Emergency or Falz's Soldier.
Best R and B pop album is an easy one and should go to Kiss Daniel.Best R and B single is Aduke by Tjan.
Best pop single is a killer,hahahahaha..who is gonna make a choice here?Damn! It is like choosing between your mum and your dad.That list is fire,but i will stick my neck out for 2,
  1. OSINACHI – HUMBLESMITH FEAT. DAVIDO or
  2. REGGAE BLUES – HARRYSONG FEAT. OREZI, IYANYA, OLAMIDE, KCEE.Very hard category to choose.
Best rap album is Eyan Mayweather by Oamide.
Best Collabo is tough too,this thing no easy o..but i will go for Reggae Blues.
Best vocal performance male,i keep seeing Brymo in all these lists,so they must wanna give him something.I think they will go for him,but i am going for Darey.

Next rated award is the one that seem to cause wahala everytime there is a headies award,it is always fiercely contested.But i think this year's would be the easiest choice ever.And nobody,even the otehr nominees will have a single word of complaint when Tekno is announced as the winner of the 2016 next rated.
Best alternative song is definitely Adekunle Gold with pick up.
Album of the year?Only 4 artists nominated?That is ridiculous.but from this list i am going for Kiss Daniel.

Artist of the year has to be between Olamide and Wizkid.Olamide had a phenomenal year at home,while Wizkid had an incredible year worldwide,so which is more important?Tough one.

Song of the year has to be between Osinachi and Regga Blues.By the way,what has happened to the Mavis camp?They have hardly been represented in this award.Hmmm
