After jiving up a storm to Bruno Mars' Runaway Baby with his partner Joanne Clifton, the former Newsround presenter, 29, blew the judges away with his fancy footwork, which lead him to be dubbed the 'one to beat'.
Full of praise was head judge Len Goodman, who hinted the star was already on track to take over the glitterball trophy from last year's winner Jay McGuinness.
'It was showstopping, jaw dropping and eye popping,' the judge said of the Week Four routine. 'Move over, Jay - you've turned up!'
Even the BBC series resident Mr Nasty, Craig Revel Horwood couldn't think of a bad word to say as he exclaimed: 'The game has finally changed.'
Referencing the fact Hollyoaks star Danny Mac is currently bookies favourite to walk away with the glitter ball trophy, he added: 'You are the one to beat!
'I hope Danny was watching that because he's got a big load of competition.'
Filled with emotion as he waited backstage, Ore explained the jive was the 'dance I love the most' as he attempted to stop the tears of joy flowing.
