In a rather shocking news,the EFCC has declared Goodie Ibru wanted.They said he is wanted for defrauding in the capital market,stealing,diversion of funds,conspiracy and money laundering?Ehnnn?Only one man?
However i find it hard that a man such as Goodie M Ibru with his public profile and belonging to one of the most influential and well known families in Nigeria will abscond.I am guessing the Economic and Financial crimes commission were quick to jump the gun here.We have seen it many times before when public figures have been declared
wanted,only for the men to release a statement a few days saying they have not been contacted etc. |
However the EFCC seems convinced in this case with them saying Goodie Ibru allegedly diverted billions of naira and assets belonging to Ikeja Hotels Plc,owners of Sheraton Hotel, Lagos; Federal Palace Hotel; Capital Hotel; and Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
