These are some very funny Yoruba movies subtitles you are ever likely to come across.I love Yoruba movies,they are mostly educative and relative to a situation you must have encountered once in your life.However the subtitles can either be annoying or as funny as hell.At times you wonder who the hell wrote these things.Admittedly,some are just typos.But with some,you can clearly hear the person interpreting to English literally in what we know as "Yoruba English".And once you go down that route,it's a disaster.
Another thing is our people are always trying to cut costs and cut corners.Rather than give the job to a competent person,you hear them saying things like,wetin?How i go pay am N20,000 when i can do the subtitles myself?The result is what you see.
