Social media sites were abuzz over the weekend after the heavenly allegations which further claimed that the pastor took the selfies. A man known only as Mr Nkuna, claiming to be Mboro’s spokesman, reportedly said the pictures were on sale for R5 000.
"We encourage people to read the Bible for themselves, and not rely on others to interpret it for them!" said commission chairwoman Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva.
"We believe Mboro is just looking for ways to extort money from people. We know he never went to heaven. He is deceiving people, We’re going to summon him to explain to us whether he said those things or if it’s a joke." he concluded
