Immigration officials collecting bribe at Murtala Muhammed Airport.
A lot of people travelling in Nigeria have one time or the other experienced immigration officials trying to collect money of them.The only difference then was,in most cases,they beg you for money.But now it seems they have developed new means of extracting money from travellers and it should be looked into seriously.
This angry twitter user took to social media to vent out his frustrations on what he termed the disgraceful attitude of the immigration officials at the Muritala Mohammed Airport, Lagos. He alleged that they deliberately delayed passengers in the bid to extort cash bribes ranging from $50 to $150 from passengers, and failure to oblige them means your journey will be delayed as your passport will be seized.More after the cut...
