This picture of Bob Marley and his mother actually brought a tear to my eyes.This is the last known photo taken of reggae legend Bob Marley before he succumbed to cancer on May 11, 1981. He was on his way to die at home in Jamaica after fighting the cancer without success for eight months in Pennsylvania, but never made it home. He died at Cedars of
Lebanon Hospital in Miami (now University of Miami Hospital) at the age of 36. The spread of melanoma to his lungs and brain caused his death.Bob Marley final words to Ziggy his son were "Money can't buy life."

36 is such a young age to die,can you imagine what Bob Marley could have gone on to achieve if he had lived longer? So many great men died so young,Martin Luther King was in his 30s,Malcolm X was in his 30s...Just makes me thankful Fela Kuti had at least 58 years..and i still think he died young as well.
The influences of these great men are still being felt today..RIP to the all.
