Caitlyn Jenner winning Glamour woman of the year is an insult to women

The organisers of the glamour woman of the year awards obviously were looking for headlines and publicity.Otherwise why would a man who only became a woman 5 months ago defeat every woman to become the Glamour woman of the year? Are they saying someone who became a woman less than 6 months ago is better at being a woman than those who have been women all their lives? Or is this just a token award? I find the whole thing
absolutely ridiculous!
Caitlyn Jenner accepted a Glamour woman of the year award on Monday, telling the crowd that she believes she was put on Earth to tell her story and make a difference in the world.

She said that before she had come out as a woman, she stayed home most of the time. "Now," she said to cheers, "I actually like going out, and being myself."

Jenner described her journey to becoming a woman, and spoke of how he sat down with his children to discuss plans to go public. She said she had realized that perhaps "this is why God put me on this earth, to tell my story ... and make a difference in the world."

Jenner is not the first transgender woman to be a Glamour Woman of the Year; last year, actress Laverne Cox was honored. Still, Jenner's inclusion sparked some backlash on social media.
