Daniel Craig James Bond salary.
Its all done at her majesty's service, but Daniel Craig sure ain't doing for free for his country
Craig is the highest-paid James Bond star ever as the Spectre action hero is said to be in line to earn around £39million for his role in 007's latest adventure.
According to The Sun, the actor's deal for his salary and profit share is worth more than the
combined earnings of all the men to take on the role.A source close to MGM said:
Daniel's deal means he'll bank $24million (£15.66m) for acting, around $6million (£3.82m) for endorsements and $30million (£19.58m) if the financial projections are on course."Even taking inflation into account he is by far the highest paid Bond actor."Craig's predecessor Pierce Brosnan is said to be in second place with £24.4million across his four films, whilst George Lazenby pulled in just £34,000 for On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
However, he says his deal with Bond series is done. When asked if he would film another, the actor said
Now? I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists. Not a good way to talk about the brand that has given him fame and fortune though, don't you think?
"No, not at the moment. Not at all. That's fine. I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on."
