The Kuti's are one of the greatest families in Nigeria.From Fela,to Fela's mother Mrs Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti,who was the first woman to drive a car in Nigeria and first black woman to visit the Soviet Union,to Fela's father,Rev Oludotun Kuti who was an
infleuntial man in Abeokuta ,to Fela's grandfather Canon J.J Ransome Kuti who wrote the Egba anthem.He was also the grandfather of Wole Soyinka.Then you have the doctors,Beko and Oli Koye Ransome Kuti..and now the new generation,Femi,Seun and Made Kuti ready to follow in their footsteps.In fact thinking about it now,it will be very hard to find a family who had more impact on Nigerian life that the Ransome Kuti,Anikulapo Kuti family.

So it was only too right for Femi Kuti to take his son, Made to his grandparents - Funmilayo and Israel Oludotun Ransome-Kuti's grave side in Abeokuta to pay respects.Made should know about his history and be proud of what his family has given to Nigeria,though they have hardly gotten nothing back in return..well except from the people maybe...
