Actress Shan George wants EFCC to Probe $200m Jonatnan gave to Nollywood!

Shan George,the Nollywood actress, has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to beam its searchlight on the movie industry after the ‘Bank of Industry’ denied receiving $200million from the former President Goodluck Jonathan for the movie industry, globally known as Nollywood.

While speaking with newsmen recently, the actress said she believed that the money had been squandered by some people in the industry.

In her words; “I’m using this fine morning to ask this fine question. Who ate the money ex-president Jonathan gave to Nollywood? EFCC please probe this.”

I fully well support this notion by Shan George.But was it $200m or N200m? I am not totally sure if she got that figure right.But dollars or Naira,it should be probed.What happened to the money? What did they do with it? I am sure some of those who chopped the money are wetting their pants now reading this..Maybe some of them will become proper actors and know how to act prison scenes when they get back from jail! lol.
