Abobaku of Ife!
This headline grabbed my attention and i found it hilarious.Surely this must be some kind of joke? Who is still an Abobaku as this time and age? For those of you who are non Yoruba's or don't
understand what this is,An Abobaku is a man who has to be buried alive with the king when he dies! It was practised in the Yoruba kingdom and Egypt empire many years ago.I will be greatly shocked if
that practise still goes on.At the same time, this Abobaku should be flogged if caught. And i'll tell you why,if this story is indeed true,he knew what his job entailed didn't he? So after chopping and enjoying the Ooni's money and wealth,he wants' to run after his death? Ko jor rara...You must Bo ba ku..lol...I really hope this is a joke though,seriously...
