DMX jailed.
I really don't agree with a system that jails a father for 6 months because he didn't pay child support.That is abuse of power in my opinion.If he didn't pay child support ,find out why not.Can he afford it? Is he broke? If he can afford it,then fine him and seize or sell his property to make the payment,but jail a man for that? Make him a criminal for not making payment and locking him up with hardened criminals? In my opinion,that is

Rapper DMX was jailed in Buffalo, New York yesterday July 14th for failing to comply with a family court ruling. He was asked by a court to pay back child support to one of his baby mamas but he didn't. When he appeared in court yesterday, a judge slapped him with a 6 months sentence and he was immediately locked up in Erie County Holding Center.
If the system can't find a better way to deal with these issues than jail the father,then it's a failure! 6 months?? That is truly ridiculous!
Another thing that stinks with the law is asking these celebrities to pay astronomical fees in child support! DMX was jailed for failing to pay $400,000 in child support! $400,000!! Does that child eat gold for breakfast? I will never agree with the ridiculous system that endorses millions of dollars on child support simply cos the man is rich1 It is totally ridiculous! These women get pregnant and think they've hit the jackpot for life! $400,000 is what a lot of people will not earn their whole life! Yet this is okay to cater for a little child.
How much is DMX worth himself? To ask him to pay that amount,DMX has to be worth $40m! The whole system is just totally ridiculous!
