Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva was the third woman to become a medical doctor in Nigeria.She died peacefully yesterday.Sadly,i remember about a couple of months ago she celebrated her birthday.I particularly was amazed that Joke Silva still had her mother alive at that age and thought how lucky she was.
She is survived by Joke Silva, the actress, Bisi Silva, Jumoke Daodu and Lape Silva.
