These are really Bad roads of Adetola Street Aguda Surulere.
People should share this story over and over again till it gets to Governor Ambode and
they do something!
I have known the area for many years,as i grew up in Ikate.Lagos state government
have always ignored these areas along Ikate,Aguda.I don't know why this is.Maybe the people in that area are too quiet and so can be taken for a ride. But enough is enough, this is truly disgusting and something must be done about it.I would go as far
as saying those responsible should be prosecuted and jailed! If you are awarded a contract to serve the community and you don't carry it out after a certain period haven spent the money, you should be prosecuted, fined heavily or jailed!
I hope this post somehow gets to Governor Ambode of Lagos state,he should do something about this.
You can bet the last fuel in your generator that these people have spent the money allocated for this road.I mean just look at the state of it? In 2015???!!!! Whne something terrible or bad happen to certain people, you wonder why.But that is karma catching up with them!
I saw this post on Linda Ikeji's Blog and below is the report that came with it...
Photos sent to me by youths of the area. This is Adetola street in Aguda, the longest street in Aguda. It takes you to diverse locations like Coker, Festac, Mile2, Badagry e.t.c. and the condition is terrible.
"The road was assigned to Plycon Construction Limited two years ago. It was also re-allocated last year to same Plycon Construction Limited but same thing happened again. Imagine they packed their machines there and bought some locking stones just to hang it by the roadside and misinform people. The locking stones have been there for ages and the contract has been uncontrolled. Here are the images below." a youth leader wrote. See more photos after the cut...
