St Gregory's College vs St Finbarrs College in Masters Cup Final Today!

Principal Cup Nigeria.
It's just like the good old days.seeing St Gregory's College vs St Finbarrs College in the Masters Cup Final Today,except in the good old days it was called the Principal's cup.And two of the teams that dominated the competition most were these two.By the way,St Finbarr's have won the cup a record 11 times!I'm not sure who is second,but i will bet anything it is either CMS Bariga,or St Gregory's college Obalende.


This is a good development that these great schools are producing players again.It will only help Nigeria's football.Among the great players the Principal cup or Masters cup have produced in the past are,Henry Nwosu,Super Eagles Coach Steven Keshi,Under 23 coach Samson Sia Sia,all for St Finbarr's college and Adokie Amiesimaka of CMS Bariga,all of them went on to play for the
national team of Nigeria,then known as the Green Eagles of Nigeria.

Another good development is the emergence of the girls final as well.Todays's final sees Queen's college Yaba vs Ansar Udeen girls high school Itire.This will maintain Nigeria's dominance as the queens of African women's football and keep the production line of young players coming through.By the way,all schools mentioned are from Lagos state.
