Fuse ODG,Ghanian singing superstar was nominated in the Best Pop & alternative category at the 2015 BET awards but says he won't be at the ceremony happening today because they give their awards backstage.
I hope Davido and Ice Prince learns from this,rather than speak out,they both made
excuses for BET when they were given their BET Awards backstage! Davido is a young man,and he was even younger when he won the award,he was 18 or 19,so i can excuse him,he still has a lot to lear,but there can be no excuse for Ice Prince who should no far better! Some things are more important than money,as ODG has shown! PRIDE!

I am really loving Fuse,he did something similar with Bob Geldof,when he turned down the chance to sing on Band Aid last December in a song for Ebola victims in Africa.The reason the African artist turned down Bob Geldof and Band Aid then,was cos he didn't like how the lyrics of the song portrayed Africa,and it did not sound like the Africa he knows and grew up in.How i wish many other African acts would follow suit.
BET is a disgrace for giving out awards to African stars back stage.
You call your awards the Black entertainment awards,yet you treat the cradle of blacks all over the world-AFRICA,like crap! What then can Africans say if it was a white award show that treats us like this? Yet the organizers will complain of racism in America,while they do this to African artists.Kudos to you once again Fuse for boycotting The awards,I love you and you are my man of the year!
