Why am i not surprised at Senator Ben Murray Bruces's reaction to his mates gazumping 8.6 billion Naira in wardrobe allowance?We all remember how he was firing on all fronts and attacking the elite and corruption.He said it will not be business as usual in the senate and
he will fight for the people.The Ben Murray Bruce speech was a welcome to Nigerians.It was full of promise,direction and purpose.But talk is cheap ladies and gentlemen.I expected Ben Murray Bruce to come up with something more robust and damning regarding the astronomical wardrobe allowance allocated to Nigerian lawmakers.Not talk like i have to stay with them and not alienate them to make a change.Such rubbish talk!
Where is the stance? Where is the anti corruption fight when it really came down to it? Also,Ben Bruce Murray has not really said if he will reject his own allowance.These guys get $150,000 annually! What else do they need allowances for? It's disgraceful really.But trust Nigerians.They don't let nothing go.Nigerians have reacted to him on twitter and its a belly of laughs.
