Can somebody please tell me exactly what the Nigeria council of state meeting is for?Past Nigerian leaders including president-elect Gen. Buhari, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Chief Ernest Shonekan attended today's Council of State meeting which is President
Jonathan's last as a president.
These are all distinguished names who have graced these council of state meetings many times.But what is it exactly for? I am not being funny here,i am serious.Is it just a get together where these leaders converge and ask ,how are you doing? How is your family? Or do they get together to discuss the state of Nigeria and what could be done to put things in place?
Becuase frankly,if we have five Generals in the Nigerian army here,who all fought in the Nigerian civil war,who all ruled Nigeria once,who all know what its like to face rebellion and warfare,yet had no clue or solution on what to do when Boko Haram started killing Nigerian women and children like dogs,then this useless get together should be scrapped! I see no benefits in this getting togethers where they just spend more of Nigerian money in hosting this nonsense!
