Governor Okorocha at a valedictory organized by Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) held in honor of leaving governors of the APC,stated that the APC could not have won the last elections had it not
been for the defection of 5 Governors from the PDP to the APC.The five important governors according to Okorocha were,Rabiu Kwankwanso of Kano state,Aliu Wamakko of Sokoto state,Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state,Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state.
"Make no mistake about it,without the governors who joined the APC in 2013,we would no be here today" Rochas Okorocha said.
Okorocha who is also the chiarman of the PGF commended the five governors for their bravery and the risk they took given what he described as a vindictive federal government.
