Nigeria Police launch 259 customized police vehicles.
On Monday May 18th, the Nigerian police launched 259 customized patrol vehicles at a ceremony at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. IG of Police, Solomon Arase, who unveiled the vehicles said the vehicles are specially designated 'Safer Highway Patrol Vehicles' that will work nationwide. Each vehicle has been customized to specific states.
While this is a somewhat good step,259 police vehicles is far too little for a country of 36 states and 170 million people.This 259 vehicles should be for 1 state alone.That,s how you maintain security and make people and criminal feel the police are everywhere watching you like big brother.Good but no way good enough.
