Movie star/wrestler actor Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson broke the internet after posting picture of his huge thighs on instagram!
We’re used to seeing the titan’s muscles but this is just something else. Just look at those colossal tree trunks of legs, they’re so huge could probably
crush coal into diamonds.
The Instagram photo of Dwayne Johnson getting pumped in the gym was posted to announce his new movie ‘Central Intelligence’ with Rawson Thurber, the director of ‘We Are The Millers’, and It has since earned over half a million “likes” on the photo sharing site.
The Rock is no stranger to sharing motivational fitness photos of himself, but as his Hollywood career continues to go from strength to strength, he just continues to get bigger and bigger. But, he hasn’t always been this stacked.
Here’s Dwayne as a young boy with superstar boxer Mohammed Ali (Courtesy of Instagram) before he morphed into a walking man mountain.
Even at 15, Dwayne The Rock Johnson was a big guy. As a teenager, Johnson was a promising ice hockey and football player, later signing for the Calgary Stampeders after leaving college.
Here is in playing in the Canadian Football League for the Stampeders before he quit the sport for good when he was passed over for the NFL. His legs were big, even back then.
After dropping out of football,Dwayne Johnson decided to follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps by pursuing a career in pro-wrestling. He joined the Worldwide Wrestling Federation (WWF) fighting as Rocky Maivia in 1996, which is around the same time this infamous photo of Dwayne and his “fanny pack” was taken.
In 1997, after losing the Intercontinental Championship to Owen Hart, Rocky began referring to himself in the third person as “The Rock” and refused to answer to his old name.
This change would propel The Rock to wrestling superstardom and Hollywood began knocking at his door.
The Rock made his movie debut in 2000′s as the Scorpion King in ‘The Mummy Returns’, this was quickly followed by his solo spin-off ‘The Scorpion King’ in 2002. He’s big, but not huge like he is now.
After a rocky few years in the movies, Johnson’s fortunes changed when he switched agents and started landing some pretty big roles.
He went from starring in awful kids’ comedies like ‘Tooth Fairy’ to being the franchise-saving megastar we know today. His appearances in the ‘Fast & Furious’ and ‘GI Joe’ films reinvigorated both franchises and his muscles have grown to match his now astronomical paycheques.
Alongside ‘Central Intelligence’, The Rock will next be seen in this summer’s disaster tentpole ‘San Andreas’. He’ll also be heard singing in Disney’s animated ‘Moana’ in 2016, and of course he’ll make his long-awaited superhero debut in ‘Shazam’, probably in 2019.
Let’s raise a glass to the mighty Rock with the toast: Please, don’t ever change.
