Akinwunmi Ambode has defeated Jimi Agbaje with 811,994 to 659,788 votes to win the governorship of Lagos State.Jimi Agbaje of the PDP is said to have conceded,congratulated and prayed for Akinwunmi Ambode of APC on his victory.
Looks like a new historical part of Nigerian politicians is really underway with this cordial way of
dealing with each other.Now if only the supporters will stop killing each other.
Ambode is said to have won 15 local governments as to the 5 won by Jimi Agbaje,declared INEC.The election was also said to have been the most peaceful election in the state with no trouble,fighting or killings reported.
So there you have it folks,Akinwunmi Ambode is the new Governo elect for Lagos State and has already been congratulated and prayed for by his close rival Jimi Agbaje of the PDP.
