| APC is committed to Giving a Meal a Day to Public School Kids. |
Hmm This is interesting.This was part of what i enjoyed growing up as a kid in Nigeria,Lagos State in particular.I attended a Lagos Public School and we were given free meals everyday.We had Fish and bread,Porridge,Milk,Jollof Rice,Asaro and more.Thinking of it now,it seems unbelievable.But it did happen in Nigeria and this was courtesy of the Awolowo legacy.Now Professor Yemi Osinbajo,the APC Vice Presidential candidate,who coincidentally is married to
Awolowo's grand daughter is promising the same for Nigeria.I am sure it's no coincidence.The APC are promising that they are "committed to a meal a day for all children in public primary schools".Yes it can be done!
I cannot understand our leaders.
As kids,you enjoyed all these privileges,so why would you be in power and not want to let another generation enjoy the same as you did? One word-GREED!
I hope Yemi Osinbajo and his party can deliver this as they promised.Nigerian children have been neglected too long.Only the rich kids have wonderful stories to tell....It's time the kid of the poor man wrote his own beautiful story.
