Muhammadu Buhari,the APC presidential candidate, recently revealed he had only 1m Naira in his account,this was supposed to work in his favour,but it actually works against him if you think about it.
I quite like this perspective taken by Mc Abbey a Nigerian comedian,but he wasn't joikng when addressing Nigeria's plight and the agenda of the APC political aspirant Muhammadu Buhari.I like Buhari personally,i believe in him and would vote for him.But i was only thinking the other day that Buhari should cut out all this "i have only 1million Naira in my account".
That is total bull sh*t! I am not saying he has 200million Naira,but he doesn't have 1 million either.
For starters Buhari is a retired Nigerian leader and earns 2.3million Naira monthly as pension.It should 23million,but Buhari turned it down saying it was too much and chose to accept just 10%.Now,that in itself is a remarkable feat.But if Buhari gets 2.3million Naira a month and has only 1million Naira at the end of the year,what does that say of him as a man able to manage his economic growth or stability? Would Nigeria's economy be managed the same way as the growth of his personal account stalled?
Bear in mind Buhari has been retired for 30 years now.That is a bad development,and that is why i don't believe all this story about Buhari having only 1million Naira in his account story.Its just propaganda and selling his brand to Nigeria.I don't think he needs to go down that route,Nigerians already believe in his modesty and honesty.If he starts coming up with this ridiculous utterances or revelations,it could hurt him.
Goodluck Jonathan also came up with the same thing previously,about how he had no shoes as a kid,till a picture emerged that Jonathan actually had a horse ! lol (it was a toy horse :)
