LeAnn Rimes apologises for insensitive Eric Garner Riot Jibe!

Racial tension is really the order of the day right now in America.Michael Brown and Eric Garner deaths and legal results,have not eased matters at all. Singer LeAnn Rimes had to apologize after making insensitive comments regarding the Eric Garner protests in

New York on Wednesday night.

The 32-year-old was performing at the Rockafeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony on NBC but was dismayed by protestors in the area.

“Wow, riots are sad tonight coming out of a joyous place” the singer tweeted, confused by the anger about a grand jury not indicting an NYPD officer in the choke hold death of an unarmed Staten Island man.

She later was informed that it wasn’t riots, but peaceful protestors upset with the decision.

“My heart is in the right place. I am sad for everyone tonight. Those who are wronged, those who are struggling, those who are heartbroken. My heart is with you. I wish peace for all.”
