With the list of nominations for the 2015 Grammys announced so far, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has become the most nominated female artist ever in the
Grammy Awards history
The good news is that all those nominations mean she now has the most Grammy nominations of any female artiste ever. Beyonce had previously been tied with country singer Dolly Parton at 46 nominations each, but this new one put her over the edge.
And the Hollywood Reporter adds that since the full list is still rolling out, she could possibly earn a couple more before the end of the day.
In terms of most Grammy-nominated artist overall, Beyonce is currently tied with producer David Foster for seventh place. But the 2015 Grammy nominees haven't been revealed in full yet — with one more nom, she'll move past him, too.
As for wins, Beyonce has won 17 Grammies so far as of 2014. But given the quality of Beyonce, don't be surprised if that total changes at the 57th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 8.
