There's Integrity somewhere as CNN Turns down Nigerian Politicians  CampaignAdverts.

Nigeria is gearing up for the 2015 elections, and many are already standing behind
incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan, with his PDP initially saying they would
have no other candidates. On the opposition side, at least three candidates have
announced their intentions, most notably, former Vice President,Atiku Abubakar.
Such politicking is usually bolstered by advertising on various platforms including local and
global news networks like the CNN. However, it seems CNN may have reportedly removed
themselves from the race for advert fees from Nigerian politicians.

The Cable reports that CNN recently turned down advertising bids from a Nigerian presidential
aspirant for the upcoming elections in 2015.A consultant for the aspirant stated;
We approached CNN agents in Nigeria to place some adverts for our principal. We sent
the creatives to them as requested and they returned them, saying they do not run
commercials that are intended tocampaign for votes. We could not believe it.”

Another consultant working for a state governor seeking re-election, said he had a similar
experience with CNN.
I am pleased to hear this.It's nice for these politicians to know not everyone is willing to
take their dirty money!
