I'm not sure what to believe in this Julius Agwu political debacle.I never took him seriously anyway with his political ambitions.All these guys just wanna wake up and be leaders?But i don't blame them sha,cos those we have there now are jokers,they can't do any worse than those leading us now.Anyway,i am here conflicting reports.There is a report coming in that Julius Agwu has stepped down for his clans man or kinsman,however you wanna call it,says they are from the same place and he has agreed to step down.
If this is true,its the typical problem why we will be in bondage for years in Nigeria.Nobody rules Nigeria because of what he can do or his ideology,integrity and so on.NO NO NO,in Nigeria all that is rubbish,what is important is,where you come from,what your religion is,who is your god father,and stepping down for your kinsmen..sad,very sad indeed.Julius Agwu was saying a a couple of days ago that he has not stepped down.So a report from his managerallegedly saying he has is a bit confusing,here is what his manager, Sunday Uwen said in a press statement;
“There was a meeting between Julius Agwu and his kinsmen from Ikwere, and it was agreed that he should step down from the governorship race.
“Because the current Gov. Rotimi Amaechi, is his friend and they are both from the same area.
“They will want the position to rotate to another part of the state and Agwu has decided to listen to his people and withdraw from contesting,”
