2Face Idibia parents.There are so many beautiful things about Africa and our culture.But equally there are so many ridiculous and annoying things African's and our culture imposes on us.Take the case of 2Face Idibia for example.The poor guys just lost his father and the family of his dad don't mind if the mother breaks down or suffers a heart attack.2Face's father's family attacked his mother at her husbands burial in Benue State.They threw sticks and all
sorts at 2Face's mother and call her all sorts of evil names.Why? Simply because a lot of them saw the opportunity to enrich themselves at the death of 2face's father.

2Face's father's family had wanted him to come home and construct or build a road leading to their family house?Why?Because 2Face is the Governor and government of Benue State of cos! Absoutely ridiculous,not only did they want 2Face to build this road,they also wanted him to build a 10 bedroom flat for the family,all these should be done before the burial of his father.2Face agreed to do all this,and apparently the building work commenced.But it was stopped when 2Face had financial difficulties due to Ebola.He explained this to his father's family but they insisted the burial will not go ahead till he finishes the project1 Imagine,anyway..don't wanna spoil the story for you..read from those involved in the sage and the report by The Daily Post Newspaper...
Last Thursday, 2face Idibia’s mother, Mrs Rose Idibia escaped being lynched by her husband’s family members in Amufu village located in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State.
The bone of contention is the family house project that her star son, Tuface Idibia abandoned due to low cash.
Daily Post learnt that Mrs Rose Idibia and her 4 children were invited by her husband’s family members shortly after her husband, Michael Idibia died.
During the family meeting that held in Amufu, Tuface Idibia was told to build a befitting family house and repair the roads leading to Amufu from Ojapo for easy access during the burial and he promised to do that.
Hear what the family told Daily Post:
“When we contacted 2face, he told us he no longer had money to further the project that he would continue after his father’s burial, but we carried out our investigation and found that it was his mum, Rose that stopped him from completing the project. The mum told him not to waste his money on any building that he would not come home anytime to stay there, saying that his uncles would only take over the house once he completes it,”.
This is what forced 2face Idibia’s father’s family members to resorted to taking revenge on 2face and his mother.
As soon as the corpse touched down in Amufu and the widow alighted, youths in the land began to jeer her, they threw stones and sticks at her calling her all sort of names and saying that she is wicked – some mockingly called her ‘Obu Michael’ (Michael’s husband).
She had to be sneaked into a room by her colleagues from Cherryfield College, Jikwoyi where she serves as Vice Principal, Admin. When all this was happening, 2face Idibia allegedly remained in his car with two of his kids, Isabella and Olivia.
Hear what 2face’s mother said about the whole thing:
“Is it not wickedness that you would call on someone who is mourning his father to come and start a building project? When my husband died, they informed my son 2Face to come and build ten bed room flat. He accepted and promised to do so, with the hope that a huge amount of money was coming his way. The building project started almost immediately but stopped along the line because of finance.
So, when they called to complain why money was no longer coming I called Tuface and he said because of the Ebola issue, the money he was expecting could not come that they should hold on till after the burial. But his uncle refused that the burial would not hold until Tuface completes the house.
When we finally came home with the corpse on Thursday, they began to boo me. Some wanted to kill me by throwing stones and sticks at me that I stopped Tuface my son from building in his village,”.
Now tell me,is this not terribly annoying and unnecessary?Why didn't they tell 2Face's dad to ask his son to build that road and 10 bedroom flats before he died?And you can bet your last penny that,had 2Face built that house or 10 bedroom flats,the next thing will be fighting amongst the family.Totally ridiculous.Meanwhile,2Face is said to have cut off contact with his father's family,and rightly so!
