Ginuwine has really left me impressed by coming to defend his estranged wife,Sole, on social media.There had been talk amongst fans that it was his wife's out of control spending has led to an impending bankruptcy.
Earlier this week in a court hearing, his attorney Bruce Beckner made the shocking revelation that the Ginuwine – real name Elgin Lumpkin – is thousands of dollars in debt and “Mr. Lumpkin is very close to declaring bankruptcy. He owes my firm a ton
of money and a bunch of other people a ton of money. He owes Uncle Sam 300-odd thousand dollars in back income taxes.”But Ginuwine came out on his IG page to reveal it was not so and that if anyone was to blame,it was him..read what he said-
“I need to address yesterday’s rumor because it is not totally accurate and I don’t want my wife being made out to be the bad guy here” regarding false reports that Sole spent away his fortune.
“We are NOT yet divorced, but we ARE currently separated and working towards coming to our own agreement, without lawyers, to amicably and fairly divorce. We’ve kept it quiet because it is really no ones business but ours and our family’s.”
44-year-old Ginuwine,concluded “Therefore, reports that she left me “broke” are untrue. She has been a good wife and mother and my poor choices and actions over many years have lead to this. I am on a path of becoming a better man and part of that is taking responsibility for my own choices and behavior in life, so that’s what I’m doing by releasing this statement. I thank everyone who has been there for us through these trying times. You are appreciated. God bless.”
