I think Wizkid is on a real power trip right now and should watch it cos all it takes is one wrong step and the whole world could come crumbling down on you! Already this year alone,the straboy has been involved in a few spats,those that come quickly to mind are Davido and Samklef.There was
also the case of the girl who i can't quite remember her name right now, who gave a hint that Wizkid charged her 1.5m without helping to promote the song they did together.

The reason why i brought this up now is cos ,a few minutes ago i came across an interview Wizkid did for The Net Ng where Wizkid reportedly said he actually charges 10m for collaborations ,but he doesn't charge those he loves and he doesn't pay because he is confident in himself! Now there is so much wrong with that statement.Firstly,when you say you don't charge those you love,it sends out a wrong message cos you are telling those you charged you don't love them.Does Wizkid know what any of those guys can become tomorrow?And would they wanna help or work with him if he happens to need them?Saying he charges 10m sounds very very arrogant to me,its like saying ,they said i charge 1.5,but i actually charge 10! Even if you do,you keep that private,no need to shout about it in such a way.And lastly saying he is confident in himself is another slap in the face to his peers,does Wizkid think those that pay him are not confident?They payed him cos he is in a position to help expose their talents,some of those people could even be better than Wizkid.

Being popular does not make you the best talent.Its nice to have a swagger and bravado,but i feel in the case of Wizzie,its really starting to get out of hand and its a shame,cos Wizkid was a nice sweet guy a few years ago!
It's like now he only has yes men around him who are not ready to advice him and watch him get out of hand.If Wizkid falls,those guys are the same ones who will rush online to say nasty things about him!
I like Wizkid and he is a talent,but at this stage of his career,he should be looking to inspire and help upcoming artists,so he can have a legacy and when he is less popular in future and this upcomings are huge,they can do a collabo with him,cos trust me,one day Wizkid will be No 3,4,5,6,7,8, or 20..its not a curse,its just life,everybody has his own time.How you use yours will determine how history judges you and how life will be kind to you.

Inspire,be selfless,lend a helping hand..leave a legacy..cos all these songs wont be here for ever,but a youngster some where could be talking about how he made it cos of Wizkid in 10 year time.
