Girl power is very much in control in Brazil as their female President,Dilma Rousseff ,was re elected by a majority.
Dilma Rousseff who has been in power since 2010, has been re-elected president of Brazil again, after securing more than 51% of votes in the closest election race in many years which took place yesterday in the country. An official count showed her rival, Aecio Neves, taking just over 48% of the vote.
In her victory speech, Ms Rousseff thank the people for Brazil for voting for her and said she wants to be a better president than she has ever been.Well i guess she will say so,won't she?lol.
But he seems Dilma Rousseff has been really doing well. For starters, she has the poor and under privileged on her side.
Her welfare programmes has been beneficial to a lot of poor Brazilians who came out in their numbers yesterday to vote her in power again.
Once you have the underprivileged on your side ,it's hard for you to go wrong. It's people power,Dilma Rousseff has that going for her and automatically most of the women are compelled to vote for her. It's a winning combination really.
Though she faced protests last year against corruption, record spending on the football World Cup and poor services, but she scaled through.
