fever and since been taking to Emergency for blood tests..Sue-Ellen Kovack arrived in Australia over the weekend.She is said to have followed procedure by putting her self in isolation in her flat and testing herself.But she recently developed a low grade fever of 37.6 degrees.She then phoned in to an Hospital in Queensland according to procedure.The hospital then asked her to come in for a test because she had been exposed to people with the disease.There has not been a case of Ebola in Australia till this moment.
It was specified that the 57 year old Sue-Ellen Kovack, is a volunteer nurse who had gone to Sierra Leone to help with the Ebola virus.She had done everything properly,she was not ill or showed any symptoms of Ebola disease when she arrived back in Australia and it was only this morning,9th of October that she developed the low grade fever.She also has not been out of the community since she arrived and had been in her home,so if she has the virus at all,she has not been exposed to no one.Sue-Ellen Kovack has since arrived in the emergency unit of disease conttrol,she has had blood taken and it has been sent to Brisbane for the Ebola virus test.The result will not be known until at least 4 hours later.
