Ladies and gentlemen,Joan Rivers has left the building.RIP JUNE 8 1933-SEP 4 2014. |
family and loved ones.Even though i don't think Rivers had an idea that they were all there. But what i could not help but notice was the irony of her death.
Joan Rivers died of a minor medical procedure. She has to go under anaesthetic to have a procedure to correct or see to the huskiness which was apparent in her voice. It was a small procedure in her throat. Now Joan Rivers has been under anaesthetic untold times. She has had plastic surgery many times so you can understand my point. All these times Joan survived the anaesthetic administered. And the time she went in to have probably her smallest and least threatening operation,a minor op on her vocal chords, she dies.
I think her age might have had a bit to do with that, but its still a sad irony.
It would have been easier to take or even welcomed if she had been really ill or was not so together and barely getting by.But the 81 year old comedian was full of life, sharp and still working up till the point of her death.
The fashion police star was till delving into controversies right up till her death and this is what makes it so sad for her family ,friends and fans.
I hope her inability to survive the procedure was something that could not be helped and was faultless, cos it will be worse if after investigation or autopsy it was found that her death could have been prevented.
RIP Joan,i try not to be sad about your death cos you lived a full life, lived as you wanted to,and even though you were still strong and full of life, you attained a good age of 81.
What's that sound i hear?Oh,it's the sound of people cracking up in heaven with laughter! Joan Rivers has just stepped through the gates!
This was how Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa announced her death to the world
“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers,” Melissa said (via People). “She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother. Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated. My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon,”
