weapon at a shooting range in an Arizona desert!
Apparently the parents of the girl were present at the shooting range with the child. Why would a parent want their 9 year old to learn how to shoot with an Uzi automatic? Why oh why? I can't just understand that craziness. She's 9 year old for Christ sake! Should be playing with guns not learning how to shoot an automatic Uzi.
She fires the Uzi in the video in automatic mode and as it got too powerful, took control of the girl and swings her arms and hands to the direction of the instructor as it goes over her head and shoots him at least once in the head! The instructor had been standing next to the 9 year old girl as she was shooting. But why did he live her alone unaided? He should have held on to her hands as she was shooting.I still can't believe he left a 9 year old alone with such a powerful weapon!
Mohave County sheriff’s officials said 39-year-old Charles Vacca, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, died at the hospital on Monday after he was shot at the Last Stop outdoor shooting range.
Apparently the girl had successfully fired the 9mm weapon several times in “single-shot” mode before Vacca changed the setting to “fully automatic” mode.
“The guy just dropped,” Mohave County Sheriff Jim McCabe said, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The sheriff said the instructor was shot at least once .
Sheriff’s officials said Vacca was airlifted to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he died hours later.
Arizona law prohibits minors from possessing a firearm unless they are accompanied by a parent, guardian or an instructor, among other exceptions. Deputies said the 9-year-old girl was at the shooting range with her parents.
McCabe told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that no citations will be issued nor charges filed against the shooting range.
Arizona Last Stop is a roughly 30-acre property in the Mohave desert, which creates a “Desert Storm” atmosphere for shooters, their websites says.
At the range, guests can take guided tours that include a private range and a certified ex-military firearms instructor. The tours require children to be at least 8 years old and stipulate that minors under 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian at all times.

At the range, shooters can choose their firearm among a range of fully automatic machine guns and specialty weapons. Their website boasts: “At our range, you can shoot FULL auto on our machine guns. Let ‘em Rip!”
The number of children and firearms accidental deaths has gone through the roof.A report by Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and Everytown, claimed the majority of deaths could have been prevented.
The report claims 100 children are killed a year in accidental firearms death, with an average of two child deaths a week relating to firearms.
Examples used in the report included a "two-year-old boy who shot himself in the chest on Christmas Day after picking up a handgun left on a table by his father", and an "11-year-old boy who was shot in the neck after trying to take a gun away from his siblings, who were toddlers".
