Now check out the scenario,three brothers as close as can be.For 10 years or so ,they have done everything together.Everybody knows women are very powerful and have been known to break up many
relationships.Women have stopped the closeness between mother and son,brother and brother,father and son,come between friends,you name it,the daughter's of Eve have done it.To be fair to us women,we are not always the cause of these break ups,but we are always the reason.So when a man in love feels another man has disrespected the woman he loves,well it doesn't matter who that man is,that is inviting big palaver as Fela Kuti would say.
Jude Okoye publicly disrespected his younger brother Peter and his wife Lola by snubbing them on their special day!
Now we all thought this had been settled,after the almost "break up of P Square".If you remember well,part of the reasons given then was Peter allegedly said the family does not like his wife Lola,as well as Jude and Paul not respecting him enough in P Square.He said he felt like the dancer in P Square and that they don't use his songs or let him sing enough songs in the group.
A lot of people though it was "the end of P Square" but miraculously somehow they pulled through.
Now how do you think things can ever be normal with the brothers after this retaliation and public snub by Peter?Can you imagine Peter and Lola going over to visit Jude and his wife?NO.It won't happen..so already the wheels are falling off.Paul on the other hand must have appealed to his brother Peter to come to the wedding.Bet your last Naira that he as well will not be happy with Peter's public defiance and disrespect of the family.Because that is exactly what this is..a public disrespect..everybody is talking about it,Peter Okoye knew this ,but was still prepared to put his personal hurt before saving the family's face publicly.
We all know by now the Okoye's do not like Lola, Peter Okoye's wife,and i am sure after this incident she will get some of the blame.The poor girl can't win.
Paul Okoye will also be caught in the middle,which way do i go?Who do i support?Then you start getting the paranoia..They start worrying about what to say to one another in case they tell the other person.It's a terrible triangle and i just do not see how P Square can survive this.Those boys have no chance,this is why i think P S Square will inevitably split up!
It's sad to think something like this can come between the brothers and bring P Square to an end..but hey we all have our memories and the songs they left us to see us through.I am bracing myself foe the news,so when eventually the news of P Square breaking up hits the airwaves,i will Personally not feel a thing while doing my workout and dacing my Alingo!
