At least three BRT buses has been set ablaze by angry soldiers on the Ikorodu road this morning.The incidents occurred when a BRT bus allegedly hit a soldier.Some are claiming the soldier died ,while some say he was only knocked down but did not die.
Some of the soldiers were said to have dragged down drivers of BRT buses,beating them up in the process.Civilians also who got too close to the scene were beaten up by the soldiers for trying to take pictures and some of their phones smashed by the soldiers.This explains why so far not a single pic of a soldier has surfaced.
The burning of the three BRT buses has left a trail of traffic on the Ikorodu road.Some of the eye witnesses who took to twitter are also claiming that the soldiers came from the Ojuelegba cantonment.

It seems a soldier did indeed die.Also there are reports that the driver of the BRT bus on hitting the soldier ran into nearby Palmgrove Estate,the soldiers seeing this chased after him.But they could not find him.This led to the soldiers taking their anger out on a security gauard at the estate who they beat mercilessly and took away.The soldiers have since released the security officer.
