Obi Ezekwesili is one lady who is hard to shut up or keep quiet! The former Minister of Education and #bringbackourgirls activist, Obi Ezekwesili, was this morning detained
by SSS agents at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, as she tried to leave the country for London.
She did not take this lightly and resorted to twitter to make her plight known to Nigerian and the international community.Social media has become so powerful and must scare authorities so badly.5 years ago Obi Ezekwesili would probably have missed that flight!
Mrs Ezekwesili immediately took to twitter to announce her detention. She said she was heading to London to appear on the BBC Hardtalk programme but was prevented from boarding her flight by security operatives who confiscated passport.
But she did get her passport back eventually and made her flight to London just in time.Now i can't wait for that Hard Talk program.Obi Ezekwesili on Hard Talk is gonna be one explosive show.
Obi Ezekwesili might get detained again when she gets back into the country,and this time she might not be allowed the luxury of her phone.
