A Nigerian University student has built a solar powered car.The car is assisted by wind as well..I have always said Nigeria has incredibly talented people in all sectors.It is just a shame that we have the most selfish and unpatriotic leaders who only wanna steal oil money.In another country,this guy will probably end up a billionaire,in another country,the government will
be straight on his case and thinking how they can facilitate his idea and build on it..but not in Nigeria.I have heard of so many cases of students with incredible inventions..it just dies away.

The final year student of electronic and electrical engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,Segun Oyeyiola  shared some info about the car, which took him over a year to build, saying ‘most people think it is only solar energy because they can only see the solar panel on top of the car but the car uses wind and solar energy.’

He added that he’s also developed an application that can be installed in the car to share information such as the battery level, weather conditions, how far you can go and more...
