Initially when i saw this story of this woman being arrested yesterday,i stated that she does not look like a mastermind terrorist to me.I said at best maybe she was sent on an errand or something.Now after learning the suspect is in fact a man dressed as a woman,i am more convinced of her innocence.I think cos they
saw a transgender or a weird, she was arrested.I said in a previous article that in cases like these,all it takes is someone to point to a weirdo or someone who is different and the police will jump on the band wagon! They probably saw a transgender and think he deserves all he gets,we know how Nigerians see transgenders or gays. Why torture someone like this in this day and age? If she/he was truly the mastermind of Kaduna bomb,shouldn't they not have enough info and intelligence on the suspect? I am embarrassed that in this day and age,we are still down the route of torturing suspects,especially a high profile one like this,the suspect has got bruises and cuts all over his body,so when they beat a confession out of this so called Kaduna bomb mastermind,how will this info help them when it is probably a false one?
They should be doing their best to get to the real masterminds of the Kaduna bomb not turn a suspect into a martyr.Let's just imagine this guy truly is the Kaduna mastermind,this treatment can harden him and he refuse to talk,hw would rather die and recieve his paradise reward,but somehow this guy does not look the sort to me.From the word go i never thought he knew anything about the Kaduna bombing..i still am not convinced. I might be wrong,but my hunch is this man is innocent,and there should be a probe into this 1979 kind of torture on suspects.It is embarrassing for our country Nigeria!
