| World Champions Germany after beating Argentina. |
Congratulations to Germany.The German machines always find a way where there is no way.Germany beat the Argentina team to be crowned world Champions in the Maracana stadium,Brazil with Mario Gotze getting the only goal in the 113rd minute of extra time.The Argentines had many chances to win the game in Normal time,but could not take their chances.And you just don't do that with the Germans.
Ironically the two teams that gave the Germans the toughest time in this tournament were
African teams.Algeria and Ghana.Ghana played a 2-2 draw with them and Algeria played a goalless draw with Germany before going on to lose 2-1 in extra time.Both teams could have and should have beaten Germany really.
Lionel Messi was named the man of the tournament ,winning the goden ball,which is incredible really cos he didn't deserve it and the German goalkeeper,Manuel Neure won the goalden Glove as best goal keeper.
Colombia's James Rodriguez was named the tournament's top scorer with 6 goals.
Do FIFA favour Messi?Well after tonight's decision to give him the trophy i will say definitely yes.Messi should not have won the golden ball.
Who should have won the golden ball?Anybody but Messi!
