Do Super Eagles deserve $130k (21mNaira) they got for World cup?

Super Eagles of Nigeria  celebrate Ahmed Musa goal against Argentina in Brazil world cup.

  • Debates among football fans on $130,000 (21m Naira) each payed to Super Eagles.

There have been debates among football fans ever since it has been revealed the Super Eagles of Nigeria players recieved $130,000 (21m Naira) each  in appearance and bonus fees from the World cup.
Well i think they do,i know when you consider it to what doctors who save our lives and teachers who set our foundations get,it's astronomical and some might say ridiculous, but hey in life 2+2 is not always 4!
It's the industry they are in.The Super Ealges players generated that money so by right they should be paid in
reward and appropriately.
Another argument is they did not go very far, only reach the last 15,so why should we pay them that? Yea they did not go very far indeed, but they were among the best 16 teams in the world! England,Spain and Italy who are football powers did not go that far.But that is not even the point. The point is,that money was not paid to the Super Eagles players by the Nigeria government. It was paid by FIFA based on what the Super Eagles players have helped generate.
It's no different to a man who invents something and sells it to the world and gets a cut from every item of it that is sold. The Super Eagles of Nigeria entertained millions and should be paid for all those people they entertained..yea they made us cry too..and they should pay for that too..lol
According to reports, Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and a few other players received $130,000 ( N21 million) each as appearance fee for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
“It was not a flat rate, but some of the Super Eagles players like Enyeama, who were involved in both the qualifiers as well as the World Cup in Brazil got as much as $130,000,” an official told AfricanFootball.com.
The money is outside the match bonus and daily allowances the Super Eagles were paid. Team officials were also reportedly not left out as some of them received $25,000. But According to the football site, there were disagreements over the money, particularly as regards whether those who qualified the Super Eagles team for Brazil 2014 should also get part of the appearance fee.
"There was a big issue among the senior players whether those who were part of the qualifiers should also get something. At the end of the day, Joseph Yobo prevailed that they also have to be included. So, even some players like John Utaka & Raheem Lawal, who played just a couple of qualifiers for the
Super Eagles, will also get something" An official said
Spare a thought do for the players of Greece who turned down bonus payments saying they only "play to entertain the Greek people".They further said the money should be used to build a training centre for the dutch team.Nigeria does not have a training centre for the Super Eagles.Coach Keshi complained about this bitterly.Food for thought for the players?
