Starting us of at
No 10 Kimon- is a song that possibly didn't gain too much commercial success but if you bought the Entertainer album,i'm sure it would have been a favourite of yours...
No 9 Mobo lowo won-This is not a particular favourite of mine.i was never too comfortable with the story line..But i know for a fact that a lot of people love this song and still do today..so it slips into our No 9 spot
No 8-Scape Goat-I love this song-i will be your scape goat honey lol..i can sing this all day...it was cheapened a bit for me when it was used as an election song for one of the political candidates, but hey we all gotto pay the bills and this is still a great song.
No 7-Mr Endowed Remix-As Dbanj career began to soar,so did the trappings of fame..he became endowed in every way you can imagine..so why not sing about it?He did and this was another massive hit..great video too with Oluwa Snoop.
No 6-Why Me? Why me was the 1st Dbanj song to really cause a commotion all over Africa..from South Africa to Ghana to Zimbabwe, they were all asking why me and doing the dance along with it.This is still a huge favourite.
No 5-Tongolo-Possibly my favourite Dbanj song..not necessarily the best, but my favourite.I love this song and i love the harmonies of Don Jazzy on this song..such a sweet song..i remember jamming this in my car back in the days.
No 4-Suddenly-Oh my gosh! What a jam..And the video was the bomb..i remember my aunty hearing this in my car and asking me"what did he just say?" i am sure you all know what i'm talking about..but don't get it twisted,he said Koko yato si koko..or did he?
No 3-Gbono Feli Feli-Possibly Dbanj's funkiest song..this was an anthem back in the day..i'm hot and you're not! Tuuuune!
No 2-Oliver Twist-The song that made Dbanj a world Star! What else can i say about this song? Except say till tomorrow this is still being played all over the clubs in any part of the world!
No 1-Fall in Love-Awwwww..well it had to be this song..for its staying power and cross over appeal,i am yet to meet anyone who did not fall in love with this song..both young and old ,male or female..and Dbanj himself has said many time this is his biggest song..
So there you have it..i hope you enjoyed our selections and had a good time with the birthday boy,the Koko Master Dban,Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo on his 34th birthday.
