Very sad news i woke up to today.The death of Prof.Dora Akunyili, Former Director General of NAFDAC and former Minister of Information .There has been rumours in the past about her death,but this time it seems to be true.This is why i had taken so long to post this report.Prof Akunyili was on of the best servants Nigeria has ever had and she did her job diligently.I remember watching a documentary on her when she was the NAFDAC boss,and i thought,thiswoman can actually rule Nigeria!
I did express my feelings on this blog earlier that i felt she should not be back to work so soon,cos she looked really poorly.
She died in the Indian hospital where she was taken to on May 11 to receive medical treatment after her health deteriorated.She was 59 years old..a baby really.May her soul RIP
